The house nestles in the centre of a fig orchard, with panoramic views of the sea and around to the Monchique Mountains in the north. The 11 x 5m swimming pool is surrounded by a large terrace and includes a BBQ, pergola, exterior shower, pool and patio furniture. This is an idyllic setting for a relaxing and peaceful holiday, yet the town of Armacao de Pera with its long sandy beach is only 2km away. Accommodation: Entrance hall leading to a large lounge/dining room and equipped with Satellite TV, dvd, cd & video player, ipod station and internet access. Dining seating for up to 8 persons. Lounge comfortably furnished with 3 x 2 seater sofa's. Double sliding doors which lead out onto a circular terrace with magnificent views. Fully fitted modern kitchen with gas/electric hob, electric oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine and all necessary electrical appliances. On the ground floor are two bedrooms. The blue bedroom, with en suite full bathroom, can be offered with a twin or super king double bed. The second twin bedded room has a walk in shower room en suite with washbasin and toilet. Marble staircase leading to the Master Bedroom, equipped with King size bed, en suite dressing room and en suite bathroom. Sliding doors leading to a large balcony with stunning views of the sea and countryside. Exterior stairscase leads down to the circular terrace below and pool area. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes, electric fans and electric radiators for winter use. Maid service is provided 5 days per week. Pool cleaning, twice per week during the summer months and once a week during the winter. Car hire recommended. Cot & High Chair available. Faro airport - 35 mins. Location: The villa is situated on a hill, 2km behind the town of Armacao de Pera and close to the village of Porches. Armacao de Pera is renowned for its 2 mile long sandy beach which offers a host of water sports, including windsurfing, jet ski's, pedaloes, banana boats and paragliding. There are numerous shops, restaurants, bars and beach bars along the palm tree promenade. The town, once a humble fishing village is now a thriving resort and the old part of town (East side) is a delight with it's narrow streets. Highly regarded fish & vegetable market and side walk cafe's. Other Sports: Within easy reach of this villa other sports facilities are available to include tennis, horse riding, sailing, deep sea fishing, bowling and of course golf. The nearest golf club is the newly opened 'Amendoeira' club opened in September 2008 and designed by Nick Faldo which is only 3km away. The latter is more suitable for families with younger children, however that is not to say that there are no 'challenging' runs! Zoo Marine is one of the more popular venues in the Algarve. Offering dolphin, whale and sea lion shows, bird house, reptile house, slides, pools, restaurants and much more! Here you can arrange to swim with the dolphins, but at a price!
