This villa is situated in a quiet residual area yet only a short distance to the beach, shops and restaurants, etc.  It has a private heated pool, jacuzzi, spa, outdoor and indoor games, with outdoor and indoor dining.

Bathed in year round sunshine, Lanzarote is an amazingly different island with an incredible moonlike landscape, barren yet starkly beautiful. Lanzarote's coastline is made up of long golden stretches of wide sandy beaches punctuated by little coves and bays where watersports abound. Despite its barren appearance, Lanzarote is surprisingly fertile and local crops include an abundance of figs and onions. The volcanic landscape has its own particular fascination and the careful attention to tradition and development has ensured Lanzarote retains much of its original character and culture.

Lanzarote's oldest and most popular resort is Puerto del Carmen, once a small fishing harbour, it now spreads along its wide beach of volcanic sand. The town has a wide selection of shops, bars and restaurants and also boasts the liveliest nightlife on the island.

Some of the most prestigious properties on the island are situated in Los Mojones, offering fine views across the mountains. This area is for those who seek space, tranquillity and seclusion, without sacrificing the local amenities of Puerto Del Carmen, Old Town and harbour, which are only a ten minute walk away. A car is desirable but not essential.

Activities

Worth visiting is the Timanfaya National Park with its famous, 'Montañas del Fuego' (mountains of fire) and a huge expanse of lava fields. Admission includes a fascinating guided coach tour with the opportunity to take a camel ride up the side of a volcano and eat in the park's restaurant where all the cooking is done with natural heat from a volcano.

There are numerous water sports available - windsurfing is a particular favourite, along with diving. There is an 18 hole golf course situated in the modern, purpose built resort of Costa Teguise.

Puerto del Carmen boasts some of the best beaches on Lanzarote, with three kilometres of golden sand comprising Playa Grande and several smaller coves and bays in either direction. The main beach has good facilities, such as lifeguards, toilets, beach side cafés, sun beds and brollies.

There is a huge variety of restaurants in Puerto del Carmen to choose from. Everything from Indian cuisine to traditional Spanish tapas can be found in the resort. For authentic tapas, the restaurant La Bodega situated in the old town is hard to beat. Whilst atmospheric outdoor dining can be fully enjoyed in the old harbour at restaurants such as Casa Roja and Puerto Bahia, which both excel at fresh fish dishes.
