This lovely villa stands in its own grounds of 4 acres which was once a vineyard (hence the name) but is now surrounded by Olive, Carob, Fig & Almond trees. The villa sits on the side of a hill with lovely views of the countryside and around to the Monchique mountains in the North. The private heated swimming pool is surrounded by a large terrace with a pool house providing al fresco dining for up to 10 persons, BBQ, exterior shower and furnished with sun loungers and patio furniture. A stair case leads down from the terrace to the landscaped gardens below and small sand play area, ideal for a game of boule or as a childrens play area. This is a wonderful setting for a relaxing peaceful holiday but still within easy reach of water parks, beaches and the town of Armacao de Pera with its 2 mile long golden sandy beach only 2km away. Accommodation: Entrance hall, leading to large lounge dining area, equipped with Satellite TV, DVD, CD music centre, ipod station and internet access. There are two sets of sliding doors leading to the pool area and terrace. Fully fitted modern kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and all necessary electrical appliances. A seperate utility area houses a washing machine. There are three bedrooms on the ground floor - a large double room with en suite shower room and two further twin bedded rooms which share the family bathroom. On the first floor can be found the Master Bedroom with King size bed, en suite full bathroom and seperate balcony with lovely views of the sea and countryside. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes, fans and electric radiators for winter use and with sliding doors leading to the pool area. Maid service is provided 5 days per week, pool cleaning twice a week during the summer months and once a week during the winter. Cot & High Chair also available. Location: The villa is 2km from the nearest town of Armacao de Pera, once a humble fishing village, but is now a thriving resort. The town is renown for its long sandy beach and provides a variety of water sports available for hire. The town has numerous bars, restaurants, beach bars, shops, banks, a highly regarded fish & vegetable market and lots more. Silves (once the capital of the Algarve) is only 6km to the North and is well worth a visit. Porches is a quaint little village which is 2km West of the villa and famous for 3 excellent restaurants - Oleao de Porches, Mr Grillo and The Old Winery. Sports: The water sports available within easy reach of this villa include, windsurfing, paragliding, canoeing, sailing, jet ski's pedaloes, deep sea fishing and water skiing. The local fishermen are on hand most days to take tourists across the bay to visit the 'sardine' coves. Other sports available within a 10 minute drive include tennis, bowling, horse riding, walking, bowls and of course numerous golf clubs. The nearest golf club to this villa is 'Amendoeira', the newly opened (2008) Nick Faldo course, which has been highly recommended by our clients. Zoo Marine is a very popular venue for a family day out, providing water slides, wave pool, dolphin, whale and sealion shows, bird house, reptile house and much more.
